Our team consists of a unique combination of botanists, ecologists, herpetologists, contractors, and Wilderness First Responders that have been managers of restoration projects for the Resource Management and Science division in Yosemite National Park. Together, we have over 15 years of experience overseeing projects that range from meadow restoration, wilderness and trail restoration, re-vegetation & re-contouring after construction projects, wildlife habitat restoration to exotic species removal.
We take pride in the fact that our entire field crew holds a Bachelors Science degree in Ecology, Biology, or related field and that each member has a genuine passion for nature and the outdoors. Alex Mach, Owner
Alex Mach has 10 years of experience conducting pre-construction environmental surveys for threatened and endangered species, monitoring environmental compliance of construction activities, and implementing avoidance/mitigation measures in sensitive habitat. He maintains a working knowledge of the biological requirements of many different threatened and endangered species to consult with clients throughout all phases of project completion and quality control.
Additionally, Alex is a licensed General Contractor in California and successfully manages numerous construction and ecological restoration contracts for the federal, state, and private sectors. Years of excellent performance and a track record for delivering the highest quality service and exceeding expectations have helped him build a reputation with his clients. Alex has a history of not only delivering the highest quality restoration work for his clients, but also has developed a reputation for finding creative solutions to unique problems in remote construction sites. In many cases, his creative solutions have developed into new lines of business that apply to other projects.
